I hope you all had a nice Easter break and that you enjoyed your beloved ones! I was really happy since i had the chance to spend my holidays with my brother and i also got to rest a lot! So now back to reality with charged batteries and ready for full time work!
Today's post is a nice recipe that i made a while ago and want to share with you. Of course is easy to make (not enough time everyday for complicate cooking) but healthy and delicious! This is my version of an avocado spread. And i know there are plenty of avocado spread recipes outthere and mine is not that original rather than a mix of several different recipes that i have seen around, but it is the one that makes me crave for avocado so i consider it worth sharing!
For a medium portion of spread (use for 2-3 times) you will need:
1 ripe avocado
1 small onion
2-3 drops lemon juice
sweet paprika (according to taste)
First step is to peel off the avocado and smash it with a fork (easy if the avocado is ripe enough).
Add 2-3 drops of lemon,salt,pepper and sweet paprika (i added a pintch of each), mix well and you are ready to enjoy it!
You can eat it as a spread in bread or crackers or together with tortilla chips. And if you are a bit hungry then follow the way i decided to eat this delicious spread! Just put a slice of toast bread, some spoons of avocado spread, a slice of turkey, a slice of cheese and the rest of the bread and grill until cheese is melted! Oh so delicious...! Enjoy!
