October Recipe French Palmier

The last weeks have been a bit full, with work (too much), with halloween party (lots of fun), with friends needing me around (how can you say no?) and in general with me running around to get everything done and not having time for me. Since i have been away from posting the last week i though of coming back with something different than beauty, a recipe! I really like cooking and baking and i find it relaxing so i though i share a recipe with you that i made this month! Easy french palmier (or hearts) from puff pastry!

It is a really easy recipe, it took me in total less than an hour and those crispy, caramlized palmiers are great in the morning with coffee or late in the evening as a sweet snack.

1 puff pastry
200 gr brown sugar
3-4 spoons cinnammon

Μix sugar and cinnamon. Open the puff pastry and spread a bit of cold butter in the surface.

Spread the sugar/cinnamon mix in the puff pustry surface with a spoon until all the area is covered.

Start rolling the pastry from both sides until you form two tubes attached in the center, cut in 1-2 cm pieces and put them on a tray covered with baking foil. Leave some space between the palmiers because they will grow bigger while baking. Bake in 180 degrees air in the oven for 15 minutes or until the sugar is caramelized and the puff pastry has gained a golden color.

Enjoy them hot or cold with a cup of coffee or milk!

Hope you like the recipe! Let me know if you try it what you think! Happy baking!
